How to Organize Your Coupons

If you are a coupon clipper, it might be hard to keep all the coupons straight because many are different sizes and they can easily get lost in the shuffle.  Most people clip their coupons from the Sunday paper so they have a stack of them all from one day.  It’s fairly easy to organize your coupons so you can mange them easier.

The easiest thing to do is to simply put each coupon in a particular category.  For instance, if you have any breakfast coupons for items like cereal, eggs, milk, etc. you can put them all in one pile and then another pile for toiletry items like toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, etc.  Put a paper clip on each pile so that they are separated from the other coupons.

Once you have each category of coupons all paper clipped, you will then want to put them all in an envelope and then label that envelope something like “Coupons (Insert Date Here)”.  That way you will have the date of when you gathered the coupons and then you can simply take that envelope with you to the grocery store.

These tips are simple to implement and they are a lot easier than just simply taking all your cut out coupons with you to the store in your pocket and then losing some  within your money, wallet, or anything else that would be in your pocket or purse.  When shopping throughout the grocery store it will also be easier to indentify what items you have coupons for going done each aisle.
